Conclusion/Implications for Nursing PracticeThis is the first research conducted at moderate altitude focused on late pregnancy sleep to explore relationships with perinatal outcomes. Because greater sleep disturbance and sleep onset latency were related to poor quality of sleep, obstetric care providers should advise women in late pregnancy to practice healthy sleep hygiene measures.
