Request for Applications: Developmental Projects in Myeloma (DF/HCC SPORE in Multiple Myeloma)

The DF/HCC Lymphoma and Myeloma Program seeks applications for funding of research on myeloma. Funding will be provided through the Specialized Program on Research Excellence (SPORE) mechanism, a National Cancer Institute program. Application Deadline: July 1, 2015Award Amount: up to $86,000 in direct costs per year  While the proposed research can be basic or clinical, bench to bedside and bedside to bench strategies need to be addressed, since the purpose of this program is to promote translational research in multiple myeloma. Applications will be judged on their scientific merit and/or the potential for contribution to the overall status of the DF/HCC Lymphoma and Myeloma Program/Multiple Myeloma SPORE. Funding will be provided on a renewable one-year basis. Funding will be up to $86,000 in direct costs per year. A prior track record in myeloma research is preferred, but not necessary.
