Dental erosion among children aged 3‐6 years and its associated indicators
ConclusionThe dental erosion prevalence in 3‐ to 6‐year‐old children in Shanghai appears to be close to that of other Chinese provinces as well as that observed in most of surveys carried out in different parts of the world. Efforts should be made to raise public awareness about the disease. Moreover, further studies targeted to explore the relationship between dental erosion and risk factors are needed. It is also necessary to establish a unified diagnostic standard for future epidemiological investigations.
