Career Change from IT to Medicine: Worth it or Waste of Time and Money

Hello Medicine Students, Advisors and Doctos I'm 39 years old who work in the IT field. I traveled the world while implementing systems in various industries normally manufacturing and distribution companies for 20 years. I'm at a point where it seems that I want to have a purposeful career not just doing projects that seems to have just a shallow meaning for me. I don't have a responsibility meaning not married nor kids. I'm therefore thinking of changing my career to possibly Medicine. My sister is a doctor but she is 7 years younger than I am. She doesn't like her job considering that it's very stressful. But she cannot turn back as she's already a doctor. Though, she is in fact, very smart. She graduated magna-cumlaude in her undergrad and quite good grade in her medicine proper. She is now practicing in the area of Internal Medicine. On the other hand, my undergrad is Bs. Comp. Science with Master's Degree in Information Management. I graduated cum laude in my undergrad. Though the job is high-paying, there is really no sense of fulfillment as it is just a bunch of codes. I particularly love volunteer work. I previously teach Sunday school for pre-schoolers which I love and Elders as well. Although I must admit that it is a lot of stress in a different level but there's a different satisfaction. The IT has a satisfaction in the sense that you complete and that's it.
